Fun and intense! Gets really difficult as well

I really like it! The idea of going through multiple phases of a heist to vary up the gameplay while keeping it in the same room was a good idea. The graphics and audio are both top notch as well. My only real complaint is that it got a bit repetitive, since the combat more or less boiled down to circle strafing. Maybe adding in obstacles like those lasers during combat wold help vary the gameplay up a bit more. Still, I had a blast playing this game.

My score 6300, really hardcore, couldnt beat it. Awesome game, awesome art. Awesome retro feel. AWESOME.

Audio was great, good use of the BFXR and retro soundtrack.

Art fit the cops and robbers theme well.

rotation of the character controller's gun felt a little slow and often wouldn't shoot where I was pointing with the mouse. Character would also sometimes ignore new direction input and continue in the previous command given.

The waves start to get pretty intense, after grenades start to come! Pretty challenging, but it would be good to have some variation, besides just mobs to shoot/avoid, as someone said. :)

Great work on the pixel art and audio! Both fit the game really nicely and set up a nice mood for the game, soundtrack really gives a lot of feeling to this game.

Controls worked pretty well for me, but I missed a crosshair/reticule to help with aiming. Some people, with a not-so-good sight, might have problems aiming with just the mouse cursor. :P

Is a fun game. An old school game! Good job.

Maybe the area is too small for so big sprites (a larger area with more obstacles could be cool...

Challenging, I find clicky games difficult to play due to wrist pains, but this is pretty cool.

The is the best twin-stick style shooter I've played this jam. Lots of great stuff here with the graphics, the laser mechanics, and the little touches like destructible plants. I don't think I understand the furry thing. I'm assuming you're joking around? As others have said, holding down the shoot button would be nice. The exploding fire extinguishers are neat, but it is hard to use them strategically, I always blow them up by accident. Difficulty is pretty high, it would have been cool to have weapon and health drops from the cops.

Cute. I love the NES-style graphics and especially the sound. I also like how this twin-stick shooter has and ending condition! A lot of the LD games this time were infinite waves, which is great, but it's sometimes nice to have a goal!
