Great art/sound style and real fun when you are supporting the friendly units. The pickup pinch is tactically interesting but can get annoying when you just want to flick.

i loved it at first, but then it started to get boring just doing the same things over and over. i could probably play it for a really long time but im not bored enough right now

Cute, fun and the artstyle is really unique! The sound effects give the game a very interesting feeling, like it's actually some kids pretending they are great generals. Awesome!

Great game! This is really, really cool. The graphics, sound effects, music, and newsreel style are just really terrific. I had a problem once with armies being generated at the upper left corner of the screen, which led everybody to march up there. Not a big deal. It was a little tricky figuring out when I'd pick up and when I'd flick, too - I didn't figure out the pattern there, and just flailed until I got it. Love this game. Great work.

Great little game that demonstrates how to make use of the skills that people bring to a jam. I liked the small learning curve that makes good use of the basic input mechanics. Art and music provide comedy with small easter eggs here and there. There was even room to polish things up. Great job!

I wasn't sure how to deal with the tanks, do you flick them multiple times, or do your guys have to deal with them?

Very solid game. I loved the old timey feel of it and the pfew, pfew of the guns. The sound effects are so funny.

This is very silly in the greatest way. Fantastic soundtrack, even the sounds of the little guys when you pick them up and the background expressions of the generals.

Awesome style and super fun to play. Knocking the soldiers off the table was quite satisfying. I only wish drag and flick were binded on different keys. It adds to the mayhem, but feels a bit unfair.

Great job. This was amazing, loved the voice acting, the graphics, the overall game.

Any feedback I'd give is that I'd love to have a final really hard level, as it was a very easy but enjoyable run-through.

An example could be a massive enemy force vs a lone soldier. That'd be challenging!

Really nice entry! The fun is there, and it's actually incredibly rewarding to tick the little dudes from the paper-battlefield!

Best game I have played so far. 5/5. The concept is great and very very fun to play. The only thing I can say about the gameplay is that charging is not very effective (In the last one, I couldn't beat it and I decided to just click without charging... Almost all of my troops survived) Besides that, a really great game.

Really fun game. Great idea, putting a tower defense like this. Lovely and cute graphics, best game I have seen so far. Sadly my browser crashed though, not sure if it was because of the game.

I love the concept. The game was creative, cute, and fun. Having tougher enemies be harder to flick around was very interesting. Also, the audio made me laugh.

I think you can probably tell by the rest of the comments that this is one good game jam game.

Music, sfx and art are just amazing! I had a lot o fun, but I wish I had some other things to do besides flicking. Splendid job overall!

Very fun, humorous. Great sound effects and art style. Sometimes was difficult to determine which troop i was going to flick away, ending up flicking my own troops in the process. Great job!

As if there was any more on-the-nose metaphor the world needed that generals are just big kids playing with toys, this is it. Very fun entry indeed!

Incredible atmosphere and interesting gameplay! Though I would say the flicking and the picking are cofusing to use at times. Also IMO the AI could be tweaked. The enemy base doesn't serve a purpose as all enemy units need to be dead before your units need to attack the defenceless structure

Frantic and ridiculous, I love it! I especially loved the little indignant "please don't touch me" when you pick units up, funny stuff :) The sound effects in general were really fitting and well done, like children playing, and that worked really well contrasted with the implication that these are serious people doing serious things.

My only criticism is that later on it becomes difficult to flick things because the input is interpreted as a pick-up. Really great game though!

Amazing entry, I loved it all, specially the "minions" style voices, those were trully hilarious ^^

Also loved this old film effect, you achieved a great mood there, congrats!

And then the gameplay, it was a pretty nice idea having your general cheating there and stomping things with your finger, although I didn't fully get to understand what were the strategies, I tried to have red units not hit the floor for as long as possible in order to avoid them from shoting, but sometimes they shot even while I held them.

Astonishingly solid entry, 5/5.

Awesome game! It got a little hard to control when there were lots of units on the screen but the rounds were short enough that I didn't care if I lost. Loved the sound effects :)

That was amazing! I had a lot of fun playing this and flicking units everywhere. The duration of the game is just perfect, it ended right before I could get bored with it.
