You play as Wilson Brady, a man with selective amnesia and paranoid schizophrenia who wakes up in the room of a mental institution. Your goal is to understand the reason you are there, and confronting your inner demons is the only way to regain your sanity.

Interacting with objects and creatures at the right moments results in memory recovery. The game ends once you recover 100% of your memory.

Some contexts and creatures may cause your FEAR bar to go up. When FEAR reaches maximum, you die of a heart attack.

As time progresses, the character insanity makes him perceive the world in a progressively more dangerous way. Taking his medicine will reset his sanity.

Gameplay:

Alt+enter - full screen

Arrows - movement

Space - interaction

Use pill to reset sanity

If full bar = death

F12 - quit

MARAVILHOSOLOURS

The story behind the visions made me try over and over till the ending.

Great voice-over, great creepyness, a big hooray for you!

Very intense story. :D

I took some scares, it was cool.

Heheheheheh.

The psychotic episodes (if that's the right term) were really scary and oppressive! I was intrigued enough to play over and over again, though I never got above 80% memory before popping my clogs ... Thanks for a fun game!

That was certainly unique. Great atmosphere, from visuals to sound to the game's overall pacing.

The risk-reward mechanics are well designed. They take a while to figure out, they're sometimes outright confusing; for example, first time around I ended up using all the pills as soon as stuff started happening, since I didn't really catch the time-sensitive events. Didn't end well. Still, slowly figuring things out was fun.

Good job!

Honestly I think this deserves some kind of scary game warning. Well done buildup. I'm too uncomfortable to keep trying to win, sorry, haha!

I enjoyed the atmosphere and story but I wish the text of the book would stay on the screen a bit more. Overall really nice work.

Really nice job ! I tried 5 times because I really wanted to see the end... Too bad this game is way too hard !(I really don't get it, manage to go to 80%). However, this game is creepy as shit. Well done on that part ! A really good experience !

Fantastic mood! Really scary at times (esp. with headphones). Was interesting to figure out how to eventually get to 100% memory (with some help). Simple yet good gameplay.

Great take on the theme - I felt trapped in that room.

I had a lot of fun helping out with the voice acting, and it was great to hear it used in such an atmospheric game! Good job!

Very good sound work, haven't seen such for a while in LD games. But gameplay is way too confusing. Well, I know, it shouldn't be obvious, but I've tried this game 7 times and got just to 90% (screen fuckening just became too much and I've seen nothing but my fear bar filling up). It vas very disheartening to drop this game at this stage.

Very creepy.

Well done atmosphere.

Interactions are very obscure. It kills the mood a bit, when you are trying to jut do random things to see if something happens at all.

And somehow my guy got stuck walking downwards, which made me unable to do anything.

But overall a very solid entry.

This is the best entry I've played for setting a mood - well done!
