My Ludum Dare 37 creation.
The them was: One Room
This made me think of two things.
1) a tweet for an idea I had months ago before the jam:
Game idea: character stuck inside a single room and no matter what you do it just keeps flashing NOT ENOUGH MEATBALLS!!!
— Tartle Wizard (@Tartle_Games) August 12, 2016
But that idea has some... Problems. Obviously. It doesn't sound like that much fun.
2) The theme reminded me of the box maps I used to download for Quake 3 - one of my favorite games in years of yore.
So I combined the two and came up with this weird meatball shooter.
CONTROLS + INSTRUCTIONS
I recommend using the Unity fullscreen button on the web player. In Firefox and Chrome you can regain control of the mouse pointer by holding the ESCAPE key.
WSAD == movement
SPACE == jump
left mouse == shoot
Shoot meatballs at enemies. Pick them up off the ground. Cans give you more meatballs. Get 10 points.
