Obi's Christmas Adventure
Obi, the little Christmas puppy, needs to get to Santa to save Christmas! Help him climb to the sky to get to Santa's sleigh! Don't forget to pick up some doggie bones along the way!
This game was made in a couple days during the LD-37 weekend. It is a "doodle jump" imitation, but with less features, as I had less time than I would like, due to exams.
Basic Controls:
A, D/left, right - movement
r - restart level (in case you get stuck)
Additional features I would like to add:
- procedural map building
- platforms permissible from all sides except the top
- different platforms (moving, breakable etc.), enemies, powerups

That was a really fun game, the art style was really nice. Some of the background looks like platforms and was a little confusing but overall a great game.

I thought this was a pretty cute/fun game. I would recommend figuring out how to make platforms passable from the bottom but not the top!

Very fun game. The music is awesome, but that short loop, now will be stuck in my head forever, so damn you !

This was quite hard to play, but fun. It reminds me of doodle jump. Really cute graphics, gets me in the xmas mood!

Interesting game mechanics. Tho it is a bit frustrating.
You should have made it clear that the "+" should be avoided (at least that's what I understood).
I would find the game more engaging if it were easier and faster as you progress.
The music really fits with the gameplay. Good job on that :)
I don't see the "one room" theme tho.

Simple and cute. Reminds me of doodle jump for mobile. Maybe this could go mobile as well after some polishing

Good work on the game , but i think need abit more polish the idea is great and the mechanic works well but for example when i hit a platform the ground the puppy seems stuck and camera needs a smoother movement too .. but great work

pretty good done entry! got fun from the game, your game have a style :))
there is some critics: graphics are blurry, controls is not so comfortable as can be, camera can move better :) (sometimes didnt see platform, but can jump over that)

The bakground can be a little distracting and hard to separate from the foreground. You can tone it down, simplify it, add parallax, etc to solve this. Seems especially important for a fast game where a little mistake requires you to start from the beginning.
I'd change the 'Click to start' for a keyboard input, that way is easier to keep playing once you die.
And for the platforms, it would be a little more fun to just have a collision after coming down from the jump (like in doodle jump).
I like the idea of a dog jumping more than a human :D
