Pinch

You can see it right before your eyes - the golden key upon the golden pedestal. You've somehow made it this far, only to be foiled by an artificial room, created by pinching together the very planes of existence! Trans-planar travel is no stranger to you - you will have your glory!

Run around in this 2D/3D puzzler, traveling across planes by pinching them from their realm of existence into yours using ancient keys and anchors.

Controls:
- Arrow keys to move.
- Spacebar to pick up and set down keys. If a key is set down on an anchor, a pinch between planes will open!
- Escape closes the game.

Notes:
It's totally possible to get stuck in the puzzles in a way that you can't be unstuck because we didn't have enough time to test all the possibilities. If you get stuck, you can retry by closing and re-opening the game. As a hint to help prevent getting stuck, keep your keys nearby when performing exchanges at an anchor!

Yes, stuff does disappear sometimes when it shouldn't. It's a known bug that we didn't manage to fix before the end of the jam.

The game was written for Love2D 0.10.2 (Super Toast). As many platform specific builds as I can do on my own are now available. If you install Love, you can run the game by calling `love path/to/pinch.love` on any Love supported system. (While technically it may run on mobile, touch input isn't wired up so you can't actually play the game on touch-only devices.)

I haven't went very far, but nice idea ! Switching between the planes is nicely done ! Too bad we can go stuck, happened to me just after I understood how the game was working, haha.

That was very, very innovative. I really liked the fundamental premise. Unfortunately, after about 5 different attempts of getting myself in unsolvable positions, I gave up. That said, it was still wonderful.

Some music would've been nice, as well as some tweaks to the Player's direction as sometimes I couldn't throw the orbs in the right direction

Nifty mechanic and art. It seems that the player orientation gets a bit confused when holding/releasing arrow keys.

Fantastic concept! It may have seemed a bit buggy at times and the player's orientation really needs to be fixed but otherwise it's pretty good.

I would like to see some sounds also as I believe it would greatly help set the mood. Great entry.
