Professor Killalot
The Professor Killalot must defend the crystal from the hordes of monsters.
Fortunately he is loaded with weapons.
Featuring 5 different weapons, 5 different ennemies and 1 glorious moustache.
I tried to make a simple game with emphasis on the game feel and making the game "juicy".
I hope you'll like it.
Edit: Mabe it's a bit unclear, but the game DOES ramp up in difficulty. The difficulty is maxed out at score 60. Try to reach 70, I promise it's pretty challenging ;).

Nice music, and my thoughts were the same as CMLSC. The game needs to ramp in difficult, maybe make enemies spawn faster after x amount of enemies have been killed? My record: 17

So yea, the difficulty ramps up. I edited my description to make it clear.
Also, yes it is reminiscent of Super Crate Box. It makes sens since I'm a huge fan of Vlambeer's work (especially with Nucelar Throne). But then again, aren't all platformers reminiscent of Super Mario Bors.?! ;)

Great game, got solid physics and good pace, I only reached 23 at my go but might try it out a bit more later, so many games to test right now! Cheerz!

Really enjoyed it. Suddenly running out of ammo then jumping around enemies to get to the gun and killing them all before they hit the crystal was really fun.

Absolutely exemplary. Good music, solid art style and clean, satisfying gameplay. I love the variety of enemies and weapons. The menu navigation isn't quite what I'd like it to be, but the actual game has both polish and depth.
Highscore: 57 as of now, but I think I'll be coming back to this one.

26 on the first try and 40 on the second, really good game !!! Controls are perfect and having different types of weapon is nice, with this dual protection of ourselves and the crystal.

I do like it. This was just good, clean, decent fun. 8) Character physics could be improved, at first, I found myself jumping way too high and dying with no way to stop it (by releasing the jump button, which has been an established jump mechanic standard since 1985). But it's compo entry, so you're forgiven. And it does make the game a little more challenging. Music is great. Well done.

Reminds me of Super Crate Box, except this time with a lower difficulty curve and longer playthroughs, so better for me.
