Help him become the best skater around, through the power of rhythm!

Use the Z and X keys to accelerate yourself forward. Wow!

Once you're going super fast, press C on beat to perform tricks. (when you land! sorry, this is clunky to get a feel for without a proper tutorial)

If you stay on beat, your tricks will become more complex and impressive!

All sound made within the contest on an OP-1. First LDJAM submission, made in ~20hrs

Awesome! Great audio, visuals and idea, the combo button was a little confusing though, wasn't really sure whether I was doing it right or wrong.

Fantastic aesthetics in this game. The color scheme was nice and cool and the way the camera moved with the character was very fun and made me really want to go fast!

This is a fun little game! takes a bit to get used to the c button use but I love the graphics and the slow down of music if you stop going forward! :D

Just echoing what others have said. Great feel and the graphics work nicely with the game. It a try or two to figure out exactly how to play, but it wasn't your explanation or controls but just because the game took some practice.

The visuals are well-done and I'm digging the overall aesthetic, but found the gameplay a bit boring unfortunately. Can't say I felt compelled to play for more than a few seconds once I got onto the beat.

Still a nice entry though!

Simple idea, but cute and well executed. I think my laptop keyboard couldn't handle the three-key combo (laptop's fault), but I had no other problems otherwise.

Cool game, impressive presentation and neat music.

Unfortunately the gameplay isn't temper-proof. I managed to get over 16000 points just by spamming the three buttons, much better than the score I got when I actually tried to play well.

Apart from that I enjoyed playing Rhythm Rink.

This was really cool, I just wish there were an indicator of where the beat is and how close I was to actually hitting it. I couldn't figure out how well I was doing so I skated around in a circle hopping ever few seconds.

I would love to see more added to this.
