The Comet

A short and simple point-and-click adventure game about a cultist. Find a way to salvation (there are two endings). Controls with mouse.

After a brief debug session, the game now works on Chrome too!

Made with HTML5 and JavaScript,
Music is done with Audacity, and graphics mostly with Krita.

note: the game does not have a game over screen, and remains playable even after finishing.

There seems to be something wrong with the game, the person doesn't move, and I clicked everywhere.

Same as 5Cents. Got through splash screen, music plays, actor bobs, but clicks don't seem to respond.

Oh damn, I should have tested this with different browsers. At my end this works on Firefox, but not on Chrome.

I enjoyed trying to find all of the objects that had story written for them, I played a couple times. I really like the art style and the music, while simple, adds a lot to the mood. Everything fit the story cohesively and I liked the take on the theme. Great work!

The music is good and well suited. The graphisms are good and really interesting, the animation is great! I really like the atmosphere. But I am a bit sad that there isn't real gameplay on it despite only reading the story on some element (this part is cool though).

Hmmm... I couldn't get very far. I think I clicked everything on the screen that gave me a text, but nothing in the game changed. Maybe I'm missing a pixel somewhere.

I would make the text a bit bigger, at first I did not notice that some text popped up when you clicked around.

The music is quite nice!

It feels like playing a teaser to me. Great atmosphere, makes me curious for more. And I really love the music.
