Ludum Dare #37compo
The Room
In our everyday lives, we all have friends, work, belongings... But what about our house? What if our room, was always "there". As a being. I wanted to see a teen's life in the perspective of a room, but of course, as always, I couldn't make enough content for a ludum dare project. This game needed a lot of content to be more impactful, but only ended up being a prototype.
Whenever I want to make an emotional, atmospheric game, I end up making something that's not even a "game". So, I'm not so proud of this one. Still, wouldn't mind getting some feedback on how to make a better atmospheric game.
Oh and by the way, controls are simple.
Up Arrow - Speeds Time
Right Arrow - YES
Left Arrow - NO
Used aseprite for graphics, fl studio for music and Löve2D as the framework. Also used shine library for shader effects. Should work on Linux since it's made with Löve2D. Thanks for playing.
Oh and thanks to codeman38 (again) for the free font. Whenever I use a free font, I use one of his :)

Whelp it took you 48 hrs to develop my life into a game, was fun! Thanks for reminding me the last couple years have dissipated into the void.

Neat idea, and I love the way the music speeds up!

I think it's a good start to something. :D
I think more options as you play, maybe the music changing to suit the teenager's choice (if you choose Metallica to have more of that sort of music playing), and to see the seasons change as you speed up time would be nice. It would also help if instead of days to maybe do the age of the teenager? Something more substantive to me than 8000 days would help.
Great job :)

Um, My antivirus has just flagged and lock the exe file. It's also apparently sent a copy off to the AV company to be tested. I don't know what you used to make this, but my AV REALLY didn't like it. :/

This was a weird experience, but I liked the nostalgia throwback. Good work, it's a really interesting concept. :)

Is really nice!
At first I did not understand, but now I play again because it's just beautiful.

Great idea and implementation! I couldn't believe you made it alone in one weekend. Thanks.

I like the art and music, and the concept is interesting and fits the theme well. A good effort but I hope there is further development to the concept!

Cool concept, could do with more content though :) Also it was not initially clear if I was doing correct thing by speeding up, maybe make first choice occur a bit sooner.

Funny room simulator. And you can choose.

I don't know what to say ...
It is impressive, you really manage to create an atmosphere and you well thinked to how we play the game, the accelerating effect on the music is cool.
You have to continue your work.
Congratulation !
