They Say You Can't Sleep Alone in a Strange Place

This game is from the old Ludum Dare platform. You can try viewing the original page on Web Archive
(may not load correctly).
coolness: 0.24
A point and click adventure, escape the room, if you can.

The Linux (or Source) release should work on any system with Python and PyGame installed. Non-un*xen will need to run 'python ld37' in the installation directory. I hope to release a stand alone Windows package before judging starts. The source release contains the entire git history and is very large, but isn't needed by most people (even if they want to browse the code).

You'll need your sound on to make any sense of the game. Everything can be controlled with the mouse. Click on objects to interact with them. Right click can be used to cancel audio you've already heard. There are a few handy keyboard controls:

ESCAPE quit
ENTER same as left click
Q toggle music
A turn left
D turn right
LEFT turn left
RIGHT turn right
TILDE toggle console (no cheating)

When there's no cursor (title and end screens), just click anywhere (or hit Enter).
