Tomb of Katmosis
Hello and welcome !
This is our very first game. Sadly it's only available on Linux. It's compiled with a Makefile and required the SDL Library to run correctly.
In our game, you're an adventurer - or a graves robber, but let's rather say adventurer - looking for wealth in a forgotten pyramid. But the whole place is full of traps, and the walls are permanently moving !
How many coins will you gather while speedrunning throughout the maze and trying to stay alive ?
You can move with the keyboard arrows. There are two different kind of traps, each one dealing different amount of damages. You earn score by stealing coins and have to reach the exit door before the time is over.
If you're stuck under a wall, you can mobilize your strength to push your way through ! * Cough Cough *
The final score will be displayed on your terminal, and it's based on your score, your remaining health and also the time left.
All the designs and the audio track were made from scratch during the jam, and also the whole code. Kinda everything in fact.
We hope you'll have between a little and a lot of fun playing our game !
Have a wonderful day.

Hey, thanks for the comment ! We'll make sure to step by your game tomorrow. :)
@KakaDev
Hey, we'll try to use the 48 hrs we have to improve the portability, if we can't make it in time we'll make sure to put detailed instructions on how to get everything working from Windows. Thanks for the comment !
We'll upload that as soon as possible. It's not optimal but it's the best we can offer for now...
Sorry for not being able to release a Windows version.
Thanks for stepping by, congratulations for your own games and have a wonderful day !

Maybe we'll improve the game and continue working on it and on a stable version a bit later !
Thanks for the comments and yep, we're well aware of the Linux-limitation.
Have a nice day !
Great first entry and very fitting music!!
I wish it would be more transparent how the score is calculated, because you say in the description that the score is made out of health, collected coins and remaining time. But this does not tell what's the best strategy, should I run as fast as I can to the door to have more time left at the end or should I collect as many coins as I can before time runs out. I think that the second one gets you the highest final score.
Also, maybe the position of the exit should also change, to prevent the player from farming coins right next to the exit and implement some kind of risk-reward mechanic.
