Chip's Planet Defense

The game looks great given that it is your first 3D game and second LD. The models are simple but cute. I'm surprise you actually animated the UFO firing lasers, that was great detail. The fire and oil effect is also very good for helping me to find out where to go.

However, the game is a bit buggy at its current state (I played the V2 version), for example, sometimes i cannot put out the fire even though i was close enough and aimed properly. I cannot put out fire on two trees at the same time either and if one of the trees is still burning, the other tree will start burning again pretty soon :( I also couldn't find out how to use the fuel, I got it and tried to put it into the empty tank next to my house and i couldn't for some reason.

With that said, the game looks and sound great for an LD and I like the music gets more intense as time goes on as well. The game just need some bug fixing and polish. Great work! I'm glad you had a good time making the game :)

Also a visual indicator of the direction of the house would be great i kept on getting lost :p

One thing that was a bit confusing for me initially was that the camera was pointing upwards, also after i used the spit water function i kept on spilling water and i didn't really know what i have to do with the water and how to make it stop :D

With some additional work tho this could be a really solid game, especially give what you already achieved in the time you kept on working on it :)

In my opinion, the one thing it misses the most is indicator of the house as mentioned above, since I have spent quite a lot of time just searching for the house, while in the meantime the fire spread so much it was nearly impossible to extinguish. But otherwise the gameplay is all right (I didn't encounter too many bugs, just sometimes water didn't stop the fire) and the graphics is great.

It crashes on my laptop so I won't rate your game.

It's buggy but very original! Love the music and is really cool considered that's your first LD game. Good job :P

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I actually tried to implement a house tracker system, but ran out of time and had to scrap it last minute. I might come back to this game and polish it up a little bit. I know there are tons of bugs, but it was ambitious, especially for my first 3-D game.
