Beat 10 levels of the game, building up more and more POWER! For this you have to use these pitiful people - don't let them kick the bucket.
Controls: use "-" and "+" buttons under the buildings to distribute the pitiful people among the objects.
Keep an eye on the number of the pitiful people and their food, and also accumulate the main resource - POWER.

Buildings:
Pool of pitiful people - restores the energy of the pitiful people.
misery generator produces POWER.
reproductory facility produces the pitiful people.
food producer produces food for the pitiful people.
bioreactor station decomposes the pitiful people into food and POWER.
Resources:
POWER is the game's end goal. Accumulate more POWER to proceed to the next level. Be the fastest to complete 10 levels of the game! The amount of POWER consumption increases with each level.
People are expendable. People are used as the workforce in every generator and can be decomposed for food and POWER! The more people are working in a facility, the faster it produces resources. Don't let people die from exhaustion (indicator bars under the production buildings)
Food - every 20 seconds all people have to consume one unit of food. If there's not enough food for them - they die.
Update 01.08 - bug fix (fixed a bug with invisible button)

Just a few suggestions for polish:
- The reproduction center should show +2/-2 to be more consistent
- The food counter overflows when over 100
- When the food production broke, I tried to remove some people from it right after. It was stuck with 8/10 people and I could only add or remove 2 more until the end of the game. I don't know if it's on purpose because it broke or a bug :)
We first time on LD, how i think not correctly fix "Reproduction center" now, because it is not Critical bug. About others - we will test
@daniel-kartafla we know about hard to understand first time. I think we add little tutorial before publish game in big world =) Thank you!
Literally my only complaint is, that it needs a "remove until empty" and "add until full" key, because in the later levels my poor wrist had to suffer a lot of clicking. ;)
Otherwise this a polished game that does exactly what it sets out to do.

My only complaint is that by the last level it seemed to be more "how fast can you click" than "how well can you manage these resources".
The game can be quite challenging at first when trying to understand the gameplay. Some events like the "one dead every 20 seconds" can be brutal in early game and barely noticeable later, thus some balance would be a big improvement.
By far the best thing I've seen coming out of this game jam !

I liked the creepyness of it, the theme works well here, very innovative, pretty fun. Art is good. really the only issue was the buggyness when things really get going (people vanishing and loosing the game even when your doing good). Great work tho! One of my favs for LD39!
Reproduction facility gets a medal of 'Best Strategy Building on LD39'.
1) Не смог пройти второй уровень, энергия постоянно висела на максимальной отметке. Перезапуск помог.
2) На 6 уровне закинул людей в food producer, и они перестали отрисовываться. Еду не производили, забрать их было нельзя, но их энергия отображалсь.
В целом, геймплей интересный и динамичный. Понравилось. Иногда, правда, не хватало паузы или возможности сменить скорость игры.
Creepy oppressive atmosphere. Apart from the *turning people into power and soylent green* part this is nothing but modern society in disguise. Alternatively it is a future society in plain view, us run by our robotic overlords.
The graphics are great, the GUI works and the resource management is solid if a little simple. This is all about keeping an eye on the stats and quick reactions. There are no decisions to be made, really.
The main issue I have is with the clicking. There is an excessive amount of it in the few later levels once your population reaches 40+ or so poor sods.

Напоролась на несколько багов, но вроде бы это не критично... вроде того, что когда ставишь игру на паузу, все кнопки подсвечиваются. И люди умирают раньше положенного. И иногда перестают распределяться вообще, даже хотя в пуле еще имеется хороший запас, но вот тут уже помогает только перезапуск.
По поводу бага - там есть случайное событие - бунт. Тогда человеки не распределяются никуда кроме биореактора, пока 5 штук не разложишь. Может быть это просто оно было?
