It was fun to make a field of solar panels and watch that income flow. Also, I'm digging that harmonica

It's so shiny :) nice trees! Awesome harmonica.

Harmonica is good, but there doesn't seem to be much in terms of gameplay.

I love the harmonica music, especially the part when I lose, and I like that I'm doing this for moonshine :)

The basic controls worked, but this wasn't really a game. I didn't really know what I was supposed to do, or what building the solar panels really did. I'm guessing you were going for some kind of resource management game?

It was really hard to get what was going on and what to do. Could use some guiding tips, or maybe let the player try for more than a few seconds before game over.

Interesting concept. It was enjoyable to start raking in cash in the early game. So much money :money_mouth:.

I think the game could be improved by giving more choices for what can be built. At the moment it's just about how fast you can click. If the player could choose to build a solar cell or a power storage cell that might be interesting, but you'd probably have to change how the coal plant reductions affect the game (maybe instead of decreasing supply, they could increase demand?).

Either way, good start to a game. And as everyone else mentioned, I liked the harmonica.

At first I thought that the power running out was the CPU usage of my laptop haha.
But a nice game overall, didn't understand at first and lost instantly but then I got it and killed the entire forest. Good to see some 3D games in compo!

I have to agree with a couple of the other comments. The gameplay was rather simplistic, what was there was quite fun and difficult to play when the deduction of supply started getting up there. Maybe add a generator or something to begin collecting energy by itself without having to click and place them everytime?

Anyway, the models that were there were good. The environment and music were good, just the gameplay seemed a little lacking. Keep up the good work though! :)

Music is very like, but the gameplay is really too simple, you need some kind of additional aspect that extends the gameplay. In general, I like the idea.

Great submission, and nice interpretation of power. The poly count for the solar panels could have been lower. I got to the point where it slowed down my computer lol. It got near impossible to get the whole field in solar panels, the supply ramp was a bit too high, but very challenging.

It fit the theme pretty well, but it felt like it was just a click-fest to see how quickly I could click the tiles. The mathematics made no sense in the supply and demand portion. I understand that I was once a coal company and am switching to solar, but I am losing supply due to the closing of oil plants. However, after I had created TONS of panels and had money of over $400,000, I was suddenly losing more supply each time than what I had. That should not even be possible since much of my supply at that point was coming from my newly built solar panels??? It seemed designed to make me fail and lose the game and very quickly.

The graphics were good, and I enjoyed the soundtrack.
