Hey! This was my first Ludum Dare so I chose to go with something simple.
In this game you must generate enough power to build your town and keep your power level up Press left and right arrow keys repeatedly to generate power Build houses to increase population Build bakeries to feed your population Build power plants to help generate power You can build by either clicking on building icons on the left or pressing the appropriate number on your keyboard
Good resource management game. Also exercises the fingers very well! It took me a few tries to get just one power plant, and I tried to continue, but my fingers were burnt. It kept me engaged and coming back for more.
I struggled to get going with the game, my arm is now very tired, but you've definitely got the beginnings of a fun game here, and a great game for your first Jam! If you had a few more factors that the player had to consider, and some kind of end goal, I reckon I could find myself playing this long into the night. Well done! :grin:
