Ned and His Powerbars
This is for my imaginary friend Ned and his (my) obsession with Powerbars.
The UGLY ':^)' faces are out to get your POWER. Punch them and absorb their souls. Eventually you will encounter The Elderly Lady who should NOT be underestimated.
In the beginning of the game, you will find a huge Powerbar which you can either eat to gain power or use it for a special purpose in the end of the game. If you are having trouble defeating the game, just eat the Powerbar and you will have enough strength to crush those UGLY ':^)'.
Place need over greed and live your life the way you feel is right.
Controls:
WASD - Movement
Left Click - Punch
Spacebar - Toggle Zoom for Camera
Right Click- Hug the Elderly Lady's Face... (you'll get there)
M - Mute Sounds
F - Toggle Fullscreen (Windows version)
By the way, press 'F' in the Windows version for the best fullscreen experience, it covers much more area. Also, there's no music because I'd rather just listen to my iTunes, I recommend that for sure.

@franfox that's exactly what I was going for! I was originally planning on adding a huge laser with Right Click but couldn't find a way to balance it.
I can't believe you trolled players in the beginning lmao. I really liked the art; not only did it have a cohesive color scheme and a cute style, but the transitions and animations felt really natural with the movement. Speaking of movement - I really loved the physics in this game - the floaty jump, the angled punches, the downward smash. I always have trouble with that; good job :P And I picked hug her face, not kill it!! XD
My only advice - include a restart button, and maybe give a bigger warm-up period because I had to replay a few times to figure out how to kill the :^).
PS Nice website btw. I share the same vision (re: emotional impact), isn't that great?? :DD
