The mechanics are ingenious and the idea is beautiful! But I found a bug that can be annoying, when I jump and I land on the side of ground is as if there was nothing and then I fall on deaf ears. By the way , great job!

After three restarts I encountered a bug that basically disabled collision with the ground and just had fixed collision in the middle of the screen. So once the speed got super fast I could just let it run forever because there always seemed enough trees at the player height before power ran out. Currently at 110'000 points and running :-)
