Running out of Sugar

Great game! I had a lot of fun with it--I never felt like there was a real risk of losing, but I had a great time nonetheless. I especially like how sometimes you have to eat a lower-value food just to avoid bubblegum by having your mouth full when you go through it.

Those graphics are pretty neat! I really like the hand drawn games like this one :)

Pretty fun and quick game! Liked the graphics. I think the difficulty could ramp up the longer you play.

I little too easy (I give up at 31k+) but yet funny, and I love the hand-made art and mouth-made sounds, good job !

Nice game! The art was nice, and I liked the new take on "power". This was the first entry I have played that wasn't mechanical power.

Hi. Perfect art style! Very nice overall view! But - low control interaction, need more "reactive" head movements. Fun entry.

PS hello from Defold forum) and use "extrude border" in settings of you atlas - this option remove edge artifact on sprites.

Thanks for the feedback! I admit that the game is too easy, I didn't really have the time to balance the difficulty. That is certainly something I'll rework!

@splashshadow Yeah, I already used "extrude border" and I didn't notice any artifacts after that. But maybe I wasn't concentrated enough and it won't hurt to increase it further.

It looked nice! Definitely some of the better non-pixelart graphics I've seen. It was a bit too easy. I went for 5 to 10(I'm not sure) minutes with no sign of losing, so I eventually just stopped. The game seemed well put together, although the design of the game was a bit simple for 72 hours. Also, I noticed I could go off the screen which was weird. Anyway, good job!

The graphical style is nice. As others have said, the game is a little too easy and goes on for quite a long time without changing. Consider having something like 30-second rounds with each round getting progressively harder.

Nice, simple and fun! Really nice job on the artwork and on the use of theme overall, it's simple, but fun and kinda addictive! :D With more food variations it could offer a lot more challenges!

The mood of the game's also pretty good and, even though a bit simple, the game has a lot of charm and style! While it's also really accessible, thanks to the simple concept and controls, which I think is darn good! :D
