The Greater Good is a Cyberpunk pixel art game, where you play as an Officer of the Law who has limited time to stop a Hacker from destroying the whole city!

It's a very short game which I made to brush up my skills and experiment with some stuff. Heck it doesn't even have much to be a game to be honest... I really wanted to work on more levels and everything but due to some issues I couldn't but well I really do hope you guys enjoy it!Also I would love to get feedbacks! It was quite fun working on this!
The game has voice overs so I would recommend using the earphones or headphones.
Controls:
Arrow keys to Move and Jump X to Interact and Z to shoot.
The narrator voice and the background rain fits in so insanely well with the overall cyberpunk theme. Really love the pixel graphics too, but there needs to be more contrast to differentiate between the character and background. The narrative gets messed up sometimes if you proceed without waiting for the current event to get over, in which case audio overlaps.
I love the art-style and atmosphere, it reminded me why I love pixel art. The gameplay is cool and I don't know if I actually finished the game or not. The penalty on every move limit my eagerness to explore the environment but the stressful need for thinking before doing anything is what I enjoyed about the game.
I really love the style of this--great graphics and a solid overall feel. Props for taking such a narrative angle--the voiceovers were interesting. I think the gameplay could use a bit of polish and the voiceovers are sometimes a bit hard to hear and overlap with each other. I think with a bit of elbow grease, this could become something really great.
I like the general looks of the game but the game has some small issues to fix in my opinion.
1. Dialogue sounds overlap each other making it impossible to hear.
2. The main point this game separates itself from other similar games is the story but the story ends very suddenly after a single player choice (I choose X by the way HAHA >:^) ).
If I were you I would have focused on the story more and the graphics less.
Even with the issues this game has I really liked the atmosphere and I see a lot of potential when more levels are added to the game.

@dgollahon Thanks. Yeah I really need to fix the overlapping sound, I'll be posting a post-jam version soon with less bugs and maybe with more gameplay.

Love the graphic style man, and I actually found myself really getting into the story! A bit more refinement on the character mechanics & animations would be the icing on the cake. Good work!
Great graphics and has nice audio effects. One thing which bothers me is at every restart I have to go through the mini training (pressing X to skip make the voices overlap).
