Wouldn't run for me? just got "An exception 'System.IO.FileNotFoundException' has occurred in KittenCarnage.exe' and an invitation to debug (Which I declined)
Grr...21 megs of .NET download for this? Still, I have to respect any game that includes a kitten mower.
I like the idea (reminds me of Daleks, but with more stuff). I hate the different block heights, as sometimes they obscure things. (A movable camera would be nice, or an isometric display - 2D with icons, maybe) The GUI looks good; there need to be obvious keyboard commands for bombs and nukes. Sound is good, needs more.
Couldn't run this one... Too bad, I was looking forward to killing some kittens! :) It gives me an exception on startup (my machine is a P4 2.66 Ghz, 1Gb RAM, Radeon 9800 PRO)...
It took some plays to understand what where hapening ;-) but after that I enjoyed it. Maybe a little message when you dead or pass level would be good (Yes, I saw the message at the top but after a while...). The only thing I didn't like is the huge files you need to download to be able to play it...
This game could've been much cooler if it was finished and well polished. The 3d models and skins are very professional, but the gameplay is a little confusing, it's hard to make sense of the level and die quickly. Also the required .net installations were a nuisance :) The cat models own, especially the cute one.
Tried to run the "final for Judging", (kittencarnage.zip), but gave an error "could not find mscoree.dll" and a long list of the paths on my drive. I don't normally have this problem ,so its probably the game. My system is a P4-2800 with win2k sp4.
