You are a sadist. You love to watch the world burn. You also like money, but don't have much use for it. Go off and earn as much money as possible so you can put it into other economies to bring them to their downfall!
Guide:
Go to the Job stand to receive a random job for you to do. Complete it for money, and complete it quickly for some extra bonus cash.
After doing some jobs you can go over to your computer to enter `THE INTERNET` where you can deposit your money in your savings account to start earning interest, or invest in bitcoin!
Once you earn enough money to destroy one of the top 10 wealthiest countries, you can send all your money over through the internet and start anew on the next country. For every economy you crash, you can get more money from doing jobs, aswell as added difficulty to those jobs. As you progress you'll also notice changes in trends for bitcoin, so make sure you invest wisely!
A very fun and pleasant game that I like. The music compliments the fun gameplay and the game mechanics fit the theme nicely. However it would be nice if the bitcoin price changes were a bit ( really "small" a bit) faster.
The original idea is that money isn't necessarily bad for the player, but it's bad for the economies that the player's trying to put the money into as it ultimately brings them to their downfall. I notice this is going over some players heads, but either way thanks for playing!
Not a very complex game but I had so much fun, great job, I really liked how simple and good this game is, very good use of the theme and the art looks good, the souds are also pretty good, really impresive for a solo game, good game, congratulations =D
Was surprised to see how many different jobs there are. Sadly the game gets kind of dull after a while (but that is to be expected from ld game ^-^), otherwise it's a neat game. Also the music and the graphics are at points, very solid.
Liked the minigames! I think eventually though it became faster to wait for the btc value to rise and it sort of becomes an idler game (at least for the first country). keep up the good work!
I did it! I crashed South Korea's economy! :moneybag: That should keep them out of eSports.
This was a nice and surprising experience. The whole game's motif is certainly a very ironic one given how sadist the character is that he's willing to be a masochist as well to go through all of those different jobs just to satisfy his economy-crashing lust. That being said, it was certainly humorous on that aspect. The BTC inclusion was also a nice nod to all the current cryptocurrency events going on, blowing in value all of a sudden, and crashing on the very next moment. :currency_exchange:
As expected, the mini-games are obviously the core focus of the game, and I have to say they had a very warioware-like vibe to them, especially with the tips where you have to perform the task under the time-limit. I found them enjoyable and fun to play, and even when I though I had played them all, I found myself playing new ones. As the game progressed, I would pretty much play a mini-game, go deposit some money and check on my BTC, and immediately go play another one.
Presentation-wise, the graphics and music were also pretty appealing for a Compo game! Nothing out-there but comfortable enough to complement the overall experience. My only minor issue with the game is really just how repetitive it can get after a while, especially if you're constantly playing it. Once I crashed South Korea, I didn't go forward and play through Australia for that very much reason, since I had already experienced everything there was to see.
In behalf of our team and of a certain _Polite Whale_, thank you for this sadistic job-working experience. Cheers! :whale:
