“Beware the Slime” is a game we made for the 40th Ludum Dare as videogame students.

It's a versus game : Fight to stay alive ! Armed with your gun, slow your opponent with slime shots : the goal is simple: take him out of the screen !

Playable with xbox controllers and keyboard !!

You also can change the Input settings before playing the game in the unity configuration(only with the download file)!

Le jeu à l'air super fun ! Avec un IA et la possibilité de jouer au clavier ça aurait été excellent !

@xclementx plus on a de slimes sur soi, plus notre vitesse est ralentie. Le jeu devient donc plus dur pour le joueur qui a beaucoup de slimes et qui risque de perdre en touchant le bord de l'écran gauche !

The concept is simple but effective. However the visuals feel a little bit static for a multiplayer action game, maybe it needs some "juice".

Very nice and clean graphics. A little note in the actual game itself saying that a controller is needed could have been nice. But apart from that, this was great! The controls were responsive and smooth, and the audio matched the gameplay very well. Good job!

I see you put a lot of work into this game and this adds a lot quality to it. But since not everyone has a partner sitting next to them to play with, so a single play gamemode would be very cool, but your game is a very good game for a jam!

From what I saw, Graphics looked nice and I enjoyed the catchy tune. Sadly, I couldn't get my controllers working correctly with my computer so I couldn't check out the gameplay :( Also, the game didn't quite render right on my 1080p laptop screen. Even in full screen mode, I couldn't see the whole title screen :/

The crisp, vibrant graphics really help to pull the concept together and reinforce the theme & aesthetic you're going for. Really well done! Unfortunately couldn't play too much of this due to needing a Player 2 handy.
