Bubble of Air

This game was made for Ludum Dare 40, in <72h, with the theme "The more you have, the worse it is".

Controls

Use the WASD or arrow keys to swim around. Try to score as many points as you can, without running out of air!
Fish give you 2 points, trash -1 and pearls 5.
In the bottom-right corner is your bubble of air. When above water, hold spacebar to refill it.

Nothing better than flying out of the water like a dolphin..........but as a scuba diver :)

The art looks great, especially once you're near the bottom and you're surrounded by the scene it looks pretty legit. I feel like it's a backwards take on the theme though. The air only helps you rather than makes things worse, unless I interpreted it wrong and its the diving+loot that's hurting you.

Once I got a feel for the controls it was pretty fun to swim around and pop up out of the water. I was confused about why I died when I had time left.
