Drive the boat without dropping Marcus Believe me its though .You have to also balance his physics or else you will drop him. At the same time, you are greeted with enemies from the sky. This is my first ludum dare, I Hope you like the game!
the idea is very suitable in the subject, and the cartoon style of visualization is fun) funny characters) the game looks like a completely finished product with full control) the only possible subjective opinion is that the physics is slightly ridiculous looking - and I would like a more elaborate physics :relieved:
The game is so quirky and cheesy I love it! The graphics are very good looking. Music is very fitting for this type of game. one little critique: Got stuck on the right side of the screen and it was kinda hard to get the fatman back to the middle of the camera.
A hilarious game which was very fun and had outstanding graphics. The concept was unique and unlike anything I'd ever seen before.
To Improve:
I'd personally recommend making the game slightly harder. The enemies felt relatively light when they landed on the boat and some barely even moved it. I would've really loved the whole boat to have rocked when something landed on it. Also, the up/down keys didn't seem to do much, just made the boat vibrate. It'd be nice if the left and right keys tilted the boat but the up and down moved it.
Conclusion
It definitely felt polished and created a great sense of mood.
great game, the background song is good. The gameplay should be improved a bit more because the character is not being affected by the movement of the boat. The graphics is perfect, well designed! Congrats!
@sir-magic thanks mann il will improve the game btw the mass of the enemies increse as time goes on your feedback is very valuable to me Thanks man!!!
"WHY ARE YOU SO SLIPERLY FATMAN! I NEED TO GET YOU AWAY FROM THE GORRILA! AHHHHHHH" Me getting frustrated while the fatman refuses to move with the boat. Fun little game, more levels and maybe even upgrades.
I agree with alot of the sentiment that that graphics are great and cute. I can definitely imagine spending time goofing off with this on mobile with gyro for controls.
Simple, easy to understand, and hilarious to the point it left me with a grin on my face even when writing this review! That was a short, but refreshing experience overall. I didn't know what to expect when I got into it, but from the moment I started seeing all the different characters from the sky and understood the simplicity of the game, I knew I was in for a treat.
As others before me have mentioned, it would have been nice to have seen some variation with the difficulty curve over time as to keep the experience even fresher as it went a long, but even so, I found myself frequently having Marcus catapulted by being too off-guard in regards to one of the boat's sides. Graphics and Audio were also pretty neat, although after a few plays, the loop got a bit tad repetitive, but that's something you'll probably keep improving on.
I wonder if Marcus will ever be the same after being on a boat with a huge-man, a gorilla and a alien that felt from the sky... In behalf of our team, congratulations on this compo entry, and we expect to see more from you in the future! :whale:
81 seconds! :D Great game, simple but works well, I feel maybe it needs to get more from the theme, maybe every 10 seconds, fall more enemies, or something like that but anyways the game it's fun! the graphics are very good too, you made a excellent use of the flat style. Congrats

The gameplay needs more features to be fun and the sprite's layer needs to be polished.
Good job :)
