For the theme of the more you have, the worse it is, I went with weight. In Thief you play as a rogue trying to steal as much treasure as possible. However, with each treasure you have, it becomes increasingly hard to move. Not to mention, the more treasure you take, the more guards will show up that you have to avoid. Therefore the more treasure you have, the worse it is.
