You are the forest god, trying to grow your forest, but a sickness has spread through the land, and is infecting your trees. cut the connections to the decease filled trees and burn them. Do your best to control the forest
Rules: when a tree is infected or on fire it will spread through it's roots to other trees
you get points from the healthy trees while the infected trees takes your points remember to burn the infected trees
you have 2 minutes to get as many points as you can
How to play: move camera with WASD you have 3 abilities Connect trees, Cut roots and Burn trees
connect trees: by connecting trees you can control the flow of the fire to hit all the infected trees
Cut Roots: by cutting the roots you make sure infection and fire doesn't spread,
Burn trees: you can use fire to destroy infected trees but beware it also burns healthy trees ¨
Pros - I really liked the fire shaders! Super awesome - It is a very nice twist on the theme and some super cool mechanics! - The concept is super simple and very well executed
Cons - Nothing good came from connecting disconnected trees - The UI might be so big as to obstruct the view - Might need more time to really expand the forest
Suggestions - Zoom out the camera as the forest gets bigger! Would both give much clearer progression and make it much cooler! - Might be a lot of optimization work ;) - Keep refining!
The concept is pretty genuine, stopping forest fires via cutting off the main contact spot. I like it.
The game does feel rushed however, it was kind of hard to figure out where the infection is, and sometimes the roots didn't cut until i drew circles on them like i was the kid in "The Ring".
Too bat that you couldn't do more It misses a music for sure it would add something great to the mood and the ambiance overall the graphics are nice, the FX for the burning trees are really good The gameplay feels not really responsive but with more signs and feedback it would be fine nice entry
