You are a greedy hot air balloon travelling through the mountains. You can pick there your favourite gold bars and carry them with you - but beware! They are really big gold bars and therefore heavy. You can also encounter dangerous birds. Luckily, you can kill them by throwing away your earned gold bars. Try to collect as much gold bars as possible and don't forget to kill the birds with the gold bars, because it's fun! Press *up* on splash screen to start the game ;).

This was our first LD, so we were really glad that we finished the game. All graphics and sounds were made by us.

BTW: We managed to get 11 gold bars. Can you get more?! ;) (there is unlimited amount of them in the world, so don't hesitate to throw them away if needed)

Definitely a nice concept! My record was 9 before my balloon became too heavy to rise in time. Then I almost had a heart attack when I exploded :D
I had some gold spawn in walls, but other than that, nice work.

Its was very fun, only thing i wish was in it was a sort of position text, like shows how high you are and how far have you moved.

Nice job, loved the painting-style art! I liked experimenting with the controls, and I liked the theme usage... the balloon really did become very heavy and sluggish when loaded up with gold!

If I could add one thing I think it would have been a little animation to the birds to see the art come more alive.

Nice entry that hits all the bases here! Good job.

The concept is interesting but it makes it really difficult to control the balloon. Also holy explosions batman! Haha I like the hand-drawn type graphics for the background. Killing the birds is satisfying but I wish it gave me some benefit like extra life or something.

Nice work, especially for your first jam. The balloon was a little hard to control and you have some gold bricks spawning inside walls, but other than that it was really good. I love the art style and the concept fit the theme.

I like it how the gold bars look like butter... so relevant to the situation nowadays :D
And about the game - I enjoyed the artstyle a lot - simplistic and good enough to give as much feedback as possible (easy to distinguish between birds and terrain for example)
I love dropping butter at birds, however I enjoyed crashing into them much more :D

Good concept. At first I went up indefinitely but there is nothing there :P It becomes quite difficult after getting a few gold bars.

In all seriousness, fun game! Reminds me of phone games, but in a good way, the ones I fondly remember playing. A bug I noticed is that when you drop a gold bar on a mountain, it gets dragged by the screen edge before disappearing. I lost half of my health thinking I could Mario the birds, only after realising I lost 10 HP each time :(

The hand drawn graphics are nice, and the idea of gold making you heavier is really interesting. It was a fun break, but the concept could be developped a bit further. I felt that the controls were a but tough.
