Hello everyone!
Here is our (wife & husband) LD40 Jam entry. This is our second consecutive Ludum Dare venture and we couldn't be more excited. We hope you enjoy playing this game as much as we enjoyed creating it. Read instructions below before playing and please have fun! :)
For this game we interpreted the theme as: "More options is harder than no options". Use your imagination, create your own vehicle, *then* drive it.
In order to make a vehicle, you need to use Axle bricks, and then attach wheels on them. As their name implies, steering axles have steering, and motor axles have motor power. It is inadvisable to use more than one steering axle, because physics.
If the preset brick templates are not enough, you can always create your own bricks with color and dimensions of your choosing.
* We created this awesome framework to export and import your creations, but we hit a wall at the last minute, so it didn't make it. However, we might be able to patch it in later.
* Our level count is also pretty small, we hope to expand upon that.
* Also, we didn't have time to make music or sounds, so the game is completely silent. Sorry about that.
* ~~v1.21 - Fixed sliding vehicle, reversing vehicle after replay and non-replayable levels bugs.~~ v1.21 disabled due to a major bug for the time being
* v1.2 - Changed camera controls to be more intuitive and fixed some pesky bugs.
* v1.1 - Added some QoL features such as controls information, and fixed brick creation save/load.
* v1.0 - The unstable deadline version.

About LD40
For this Ludum Dare, we had ambitious ideas and goals, and we are honored to have completed most of them. However, our game is very loosely tied to this event's theme. For this game we interpreted the theme as: "More options is harder than no options". Use your imagination, create your own vehicle, *then* drive it.
About the Game:
In LUGO, you are tasked to use your imagination and creativity, to create models from LUGO bricks, then take them out to test drive (if you didn't forget to put axles and wheels on it of course), and even complete some basic levels. You can even create your own bricks to use in your creation.Instructions:
While creating, you can rotate the camera by holding right mouse button, zoom in with the mouse wheel, move the camera around with WASD and descend/ascend the grid with Q/E. The grid denotes which layer you are placing your bricks on to. You can only place bricks on the lowest layer, or if there are any other connecting bricks.
Missing Stuff:
* The game is sorely lacking polish. Our core game framework took most of our time, and we didn't have time for polish :( ~~This is especially apparent in the creation part of the game where the camera and UI is wonky~~ *(greatly improved camera with v1.2)*. We will be polishing it later on with newer versions, but the "deadline version" will always be available should you choose to rate us according to that.* We created this awesome framework to export and import your creations, but we hit a wall at the last minute, so it didn't make it. However, we might be able to patch it in later.
* Our level count is also pretty small, we hope to expand upon that.
* Also, we didn't have time to make music or sounds, so the game is completely silent. Sorry about that.
Notes:
We created everything used in this game ourselves, except the wooden table / fabric textures.Changelog:
