Awesome Man, cool retro game. Love the way you used a "retro style" mecanic without making it too frustrating. Would have definitively be a best seller on NES!

Hey @Sobigdrasil, thank you! About the money, it's the first time I put something on itch.io, and I left the settings as they come, didn't have much time to change things. But they let you download it for free right? Not sure how it works!

If I saw spiders that big I would use a gun too!

I enjoyed your game, just some minor physics glitches but loved the DOS sounds and the aesthetics are just gorgeous!

This game is really really really good. I love how the spider moves randomly. The graphics are really appropriate with your spiders theme (pixel art, retro, with that creepy feel) (i would use a gun too). The sounds were done nicely as well. This game fits the theme really well, the more spiders you have, the worse it is (literally so true). Overall I really had fun playing this game

Pretty nice entry! Those spiders in the attic are impossible to get, they would lay in ambush every time I got near that stair.

I found a few glitches when jumping just out of a stair, the guy would get stuck at something and float for a while.

All in all a fun gameplay!

high score of 2854!

game was a bit glitchy, my head always got stuck in the ceiling and the collision in general seemed pretty bad. Good job otherwise though!

Nice game! Pretty polished from my playthrough. One issue I had is the
spider hits you when coming down ladder and you cant avoid it much in some cases.
Also would've been cool to see bullets flying when shooting, maybe a shotgun
would've even worked well.

Thanks @devmax! Yeah I guess I wanted to have the thing going on where you have to go up or down the ladders carefully and kind of wait for the moment and don't get hit. Also wanted to have the real feeling of shooting and you don't even see the bullet, kind of like in real life. That also makes you try harder to aim properly :) Thanks for your review!

Interesting game. The jump feels a bit too "heavy" for me, and i would have love to be able to jump using the top arrow. Otherwise it was nice :).
