I think the most interesting thing about this game is that you KNOW the game's just gonna get harder as you pick up the DLC, but you do it anyways cuz you want to see all the different guns and enemies that spawn out of it. I mean there is the gold aspect but I thought that was secondary to the content unlocking. The upgrades kept me engaged all the way to the end of the weapons so you did a great job there.
I liked playing this game, a bit too difficult at end though. The pixel art works so well- everything looks great. Feedback wise is good with the pixel effects like highlighting etc. Leaderboard adds an extra motivation to play.
I wish it had sound effects and music, that would have multiplied the fun factor by several times! Despite that, game was still really fun and cohesive! Other changes I would recommend would be to lock the cursor within the window for a browser game, and having a crosshair to improve immersion.
@alex-lutay By the way, pressing F near the start of the tutorial doesn't start the game and causes the cart to just stay there. Had to refresh the page again to reload the game. Not sure if it's a bug.
I really like this game!! Please enable a humour rating - lootboxes should give rewards in LD too haha.
This game is filled with offensive stereotypes, but you get to kill them, so maybe that's a good thing? Fun gameplay, neat premise, obviously some audio would have been great :).

Well, I certainly am not very good at this game. :smile: Unfortunately I couldn't get very far at all before I got robbed blind. The controls are pretty clear and work well, and I love the art - it's a great style, nice palette. The only inconsistency is the black outline around the cannon. It provides more contrast, but I would've preferred to see a colour from the palette there. And this game just screams for a banjo-driven soundtrack.
Overall a pretty and fun entry! Even if I suck. :smile:
Good graphics. I think the fact that the bullets goes at the same speed are advancing with the horse cart instead of staying at their place in the world makes it very hard to aim.
Sorry, can't let a quality review, don't have enough time, just want to help to get out of danger zone. Overall i think game is good, keep going. Happy Holidays.
