This is the first LD for @octopal and I. We decided to go with a unicorn combat game where eating foods makes your toots worse. We didn't have time to throw in AI but it has keyboard bindings for 2 players as well as supports 2 gamepads. This was a tough challenge getting everything done on time but it was a blast. I look forward to doing this next year as well.
For best results run at 1920x1080. Press space bar or Enter to continue dialogue.
Buttons are as follows.
Player 1 controls.
* A and D for left and right. * W for jump. * Left CTRL or Mouse 1 for Fart. * Left Alt or Mouse 2 for Fart Jetpack. * Left Shift to CropDust.
Player 2 controls.
* Left and Right Arrow keys. * Up for jump. * Right Alt for Fart * Right CTRL for Fart Jetpack * Right shift for CropDust
We hit each other so hard we flew into the boundary every respawn. Lulzy take on the theme. Gameplay makes it so both players are basically trying to catch each other with a Falcon Punch. Gotta give extra points for all the audio being mouth noises :P
@tywiggs I am willing to reach out to Nintendo to make that happen :) @alex-Bryant VR would be interesting lol, not sure how that would work. Also you should, I think the audio really takes it over the top.
HAHAHA this is the funniest game i have played so far, and a great interpretation of the theme "The more you have, the worse it gets".. hahahahaha. Well done.
The cutscene alone made me laugh already. I have no idea how you got the idea, but this fits the theme so well. Pretty much one of the more humorous games out there. Unfortunately I couldn't find another buddy to play this with - looks like it could have been a Blast though! Oh, and I really like the death particles.
One more thing: I initially tried the web version and I think the link is broken. Maybe you would want to check that out?
@chin-jieh Glad you liked it! That cutscene was brought in at the last minute, and yeah we really wanted to have AI in the game but just ran out of time. As for the web version, I tested it and it works but I had to disable my ad blocker for it to load.
Well it's quirky! :D Unfortunately I can only play it by myself, but I like the idea. The controls felt a little awkward, and I wish there was an in-game way that explains the controls, but I got used to them as I maneuvered around the area.
The art is cute, the intro sets the tone, and the sound effects help sell the concept well. Nice one!
idea I think cool :wink: to admit I was very surprised to see enough of such a beautiful picture, visual effects and sounds, so also the plot) probably this is one of the few games with a storyline on jam), but of course the absence of AI as you yourself have noticed is a small minus because one can not play) :relieved:
@flaterectomy That is an interesting bug, I have not seen that yet. Something to look into for sure. We spent way more time polishing the harder things and missed the basics like controls and dialogue directions. Something to learn from for sure.

Didn't have audio so ill have to check it out again late, but they even have butt tattood so where can you go wrong!
