ART: I probably only own 5% of the art work of the project. Most of the assets are from asset store (including some tools). Also, I followed @Matthew_Palaje 's tutorial to setup the level. For those who love the art, I have already delivered the message to the original author. All the praises go to him. I also really love it!
I started learning modeling recently, and I modeled that little girl character. My girlfriend did the animation. She learned animation during the game jam, and that's her first work! Many clapping emojis!

Beautiful looking game. Was a bit frustrated that I can't get all the notes and kept interrupting the song, but kind of realized that might be a statement, especially after reading the rest of the comments (or maybe I'm just bad at bullet hells). Good job! :)
Great aesthetics and awesome piano music. The art felt gorgeus and I just loved the way you made that "health bar". I kind of noticed the bombs dissapering sometimes in midair so I don't know of that's a bug or if's supposed to work like that. Great job, would certainly be awesome on Android and IOS
This game is gorgeous, and I love that the music is still good if you miss all the notes, but gets better if you don't. It was really hard to dodge the bullets though, it might be a good idea to allow some kind of vertical motion (but maybe only allow collecting notes in a certain part of the screen) and reduce the hit box that the bullets can hit. Many bullet hell games have a specific part in the center of the player's character that is the only thing that needs to be protected. Sometimes it's even only a single pixel.
@Random Thoughts the bullet hell part was not well handled, as I did hesitate to tweak it to make it too fun to play. you are alright. I need a better way fit that in. Thanks so much for spending the time playing the game and giving me these thoughtful feedback!
@JSD I also love the health bar part. the design is simple, but it worked just the way I wanted. The bomb disappearing is the known bug. I will fix that, and also add build for other platforms.

I spent most of time tweaking the feel and emotion of the game, as the whole idea is to tell the story. I admit the bullet hell part needs more love, and I'm working on it. When I caught notes and heard them reverberate over cannon blasts, I felt chills! If you continue to develop this game, when the bombs disappeared near the avatar, I wasn't aware if they were hitting the avatar or hitting the ground. I also wasn't aware what the consequence was of notes or bombs hitting the avatar or hitting the ground. Compared to many bullet hell games, there was so little space between the bombs that I didn't see where I could dodge them. At those moments I felt hopeless.
That was a pleasant surprise. Pretty awesome working mix. The Bombs could be a bit more integrated into gameplay and music. Now there are too many to dodge them. But the whole work together is really awesome. Good job. :)
I was expecting something totally different, but gladly I was wrong. You managed to address such a sensitive topic with beauty, respect and delicacy. The music is gorgeous, and contrast really well with the bomb-related sound effects.
The art and the music is very beautiful, of course, the mood is very well and sad. I enjoy the music and Bullet Hell idea, but in this game, the bullet has limited the movement and can't play the music-play-part very smoothly. So the only thing I can do is waiting for the death. I think the game can be greater if you can improve the rule of play.
joke aside its very challenging, fun with this damn music, but lack some feedback when we touch the bomb like explosion particule or something ; nice game !
