The theme was challenging for sure, but I believe I mashed them up successfully.
I mixed a rhythm based game similar to DDR and a shooter on rails. The goal is simply to shoot the targets as they scroll across the screen. Miss 4 in a row and you lose! Though in my haste I didn't add a win or lose screen.
There is also a level editor built in and I will post a video that shows how to use it. Sharing levels is as simply as drop and drop the .mp3 and .json file into the data/tracks/ folder and then load it up in the game.
