cute little mini game would like to play more but I prefer browse games.I like the concept of different activities and different things building on each other. not to bad
A pretty good "clicker" game! It wasn't very clear how to tell if my stats were "maxed out". Also I didn't see anything post apocalyptic? I can see this as a dating sim x cookie clicker type game. Did I miss something? I didn't see anything turn-based strategy like. I liked the phone interface and clicker gameplay!
I don't know if i'm stupid but the membership upgrade doesn't seem to increase my gains nor can for the life of me can i figure out the dating system works. I like how you made a html version of this though.
Really cool concept, unfortunately increasing the gym membership doesn't give you more than 1 stat per click. It had a fun gameplay loop though, and a fun idea.
Perfect game to illustrate futility of life. Also i didn't get what did dating do?
Edit:@Kronos ah, my bad didn't play it for long enough. It would be helpful if there was a display for what day it is on the main screen or something that would give you an illusion of getting somewhere though.
Love how the dating app turns into a "find demons to fight" app. I somehow got stuck while fighting a demon. Also, I didn't like you anyway Polly, I had Danielle on the side who's hopefully not also a demon.
@ludum1118 I just opted out, thanks for pointing that out! It's my first Ludum Dare and I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row, haha. Dating is helpful later in the game. Try pursuing a particular match until you unlock some more content (not everything is shown, you unlock more as you level up your relationship).
I'd have to say that this was the first time I've seen the swipe right/left in game form, and it feels right! The sudden turn of the game was pretty awesome! The chat was also great. I can tell you put a lot into this!
It is quite impressive for a Game Jam entry. It reminded me a bit of Stick RPG, and I enjoyed working out and earning more money. I couldn't get the swipe right to work as I thought it should, and at first, I didn't realize I did need to swipe right. Hopefully, with a few UI polishes, this game will be able to be shipped :smile_cat:
