Dirty Race

A puzzle racing game.

This is my first Ludum Dare game :D

In this game you play as a driver that is in a competition against time. In each level the goal is to get to the finish line, but beware, there are many obstacles and traps on the way. Also there are other drivers who don't necessary try to engage with you, but they are also trying to finish the competition for themselves. Unfortunately they are not as smart as you are and they might end up messing your race (or helping you test the deadly puzzles).

The *final boss* is a really hard race. This time you compete with a real enemy. The first to the finish line shall be the winner.

Tips and tricks

* Don't forget to slow down some times!
* If you are having a bad time make sure you play the 10th level (this one seems to be the most popular one)
* The levels that are colored in red are harder than the others.
* Also the dificulty of the levels is pretty random and usually an easy new puzzle is followed by a combination of that puzzle plus all the puzzle you experienced beforehand

Controls

- Hold W to accelerate
- Hold S to decelerate
- Hold Left Shift for a fast deceleration
- Tap on the Space Bar to get over small obstacles ( like rocks/spikes )
- Tap on A or D to move left/right
