My comp entry for Ludum Dare 41.
The theme was 'Combine two incompatible genres'.
I chose 'Farming Simulator' and 'Dungeon Crawler'. Ok, they're not exactly incompatible, and it's been done quite successfully before, but it was a fun game to make.
Controls are as follows:
WASD to move
Tab to open inventory
Left click on items in your inventory to equip them.
Once equipped, some items, like weapons, can be used with left mouse button. Others, like seeds and food, are used with right mouse button.
Explore the dungeon and find new items to progress!
If you die, you'll simply respawn outside of the dungeon.
In the overworld, you can start your farm by tilling the land and planting seeds to grow food that can restore your health and even give you special powers.
