this is my frist ld jam game.A salted fish on the land,you must find water before lack of water in your helmet.To use your wisdom as a fish,to look,to lisent ,to find where the water are.!

A1:you can try move your mouse to the right of edge,you can find the surprise
Q2.why I cant find the water?
A2.No one said the water must be on the gound,you can try push key "s",than you can see......and you may need to pay attention to all of the sounds in game.
In the end,it's a difficult game,you should think as the fish think,as a fhis ,you will experience how difficult the fish who want live on the land!
Have fun,I'm IceCubePill,a new game designer.It's my frist game jam and also is my frist solo jam,I belive it's just a start jam. the selted fish just like me,can do noting,but not give up to find the water,I hope you like it.
The game is kinda difficult, but sadly for the wrong reasons. There is no air control once you jump, the view is very limited, the enemy moves erratically, physics and collision checks are a bit wonky. I guess it could be made better by not breaking the game up in several levels, but by instead making the water pools refill the water a bit and adding checkpoints in between. Like that the water would be a resource instead of a time limit.
Cool game idea, I think this is supposed to be a platformer but I'm not quite sure what the other genre was. You could make the view less limited because combined with the fact that you can't control in the air, you feel like you don't have control.
I made the same mistake last Ludum Dare of not sharing my game at first. I also made the mistake of not playing enough games so if you want more feedback you should definitely play and rate other people's games.
I'll definitely come back and play your game the next time you participate!
