Game Concept:

We created a fun football game where the player has to shoot a goal using weapons rather than kicking it with their feet. This game is a combination of shooter + sports genre. Play against AI and try to score more goals than the AI.

Game Mechanics:

Use WASD to move the character in all directions. Press shift to run.

Use "Q" & "E" to place mine & grenade

Use weapons to shoot the ball in the opponent's goal post and use mines and grenades to deviate the path of the ball.

Cool idea but the AI just wrecked me haha. Felt like the gun should have some more power on the ball and was pretty hard to get around. Movement a bit too slow I think.

I like the idea, but the game was way too difficult to be enjoyable. 1 vs 5 doesn't seem very fair?

I have to admit I couldn't score a goal. It was still really fun. Though I dig the western style, I think some other gadgets that are more immediate could have helped.

You're onto something, for sure. Some of the prescribed mechanics seemed impossible to pull off -- mines, for example: who has the time when 5 bots are chasing you? -- but other emergent behavior (trying to juggle the ball with bullets) was super fun. Would have loved to be able to shoot up the robots and take them out of the game while they were repaired. Might have leveled the playing field a bit!

Very nice! I didn't think it was too difficult personally, having the five robots I felt like was a decent way of dealing with the fact that multiplayer fps is extremely ambitious for a game jam.

I think it has some of the typical Unity pain points that also aren't easily ironed out in a game jam. (Things like the first person controller Unity provides out of the box is a little clunky).

I probably would have also positioned the guns off to the side slightly so you can see more of the model, but there's not anything necessarily wrong with the doom style gun coming out of the chest. ;)

This is an awesome combination of genres, it's really, really fun! The AI is a little too strong for me, but I could imagine this being an amazing (local) multiplayer game. I laughed to much when the ball hit a mine, there's just so much potential in this idea. Great job overall!

The really high Sensitivity made it really hard to play (i bet you are on mac :) )

With a little more polish, i would totally imagine myself play this game with friends.

Cool concept! Playing on a macbook air, the game was a little laggy, but the mechanics are great. And AI opponents are OP, pls nerf :(

What a fun game. Hard but when you start to master dribling with the ballon and make it go where you want the asymetric gameplay become in your favor. I think we have our next rocket league.

At first, I've considered making a turn-based soccer game. Now I'm happy I've chosen another concept - this game shows that soccer looks so much better when mixed with FPS genre. Good job! :)

That's a great game! Idea was great and it worked out really well. Gameplay is really fun and graphics are pretty good, definitely good for a Ludum Dare. I'm actually quite impressed how much you have packed into the game!

Looks like football game. I managed to throw some granades, and the ball moved a little, but never made a goal. Controlling the ball was more difficult than I expected, since I only found granades which allow moving the football. But the graphics responds nicely and explosions look nice.

Really like the concept. Four bots on one seemed a little harsh, particularly when they all ganged up and shot is fast across to my goal.

Interesting concept! The two genres definitely have a satisfying synergy. I liked the western theme, but the weapons felt a bit out of place. Then again, shooting a soccer ball is out of place anyways from our norms. I think a little more impact from some of the bullets would felt a little better, but it was still fun! There's a lot of potential here that could be polished, good job!

Very hard game! The mechanics and the AI are very polished, cool idea to use also the grenades and bombs, they add some interesting features to the game. The graphics are nice too, I like expecially the robot models! Very good job!

I just played the JAM Version: I liked the choice of colors, the shadows are pretty too :3
My biggest problem (personal, not a game problem I think) is that I was walking around so I stepped into a gun and the game auto-pick the gun, I wish I had a button to do it

I'm so curious about how you implemented the AI! I got my arse handed down to me multiple times, lol. Even with bigger guns, I couldn't do a proper job, but I did manage to score once. Luckily, but no matter.

Congratulations! I's a fun, good looking and challenging game. As others said, multiplayer could be incredibly fun!

You managed to combine the two things I am the worst at: Sports and aiming. I liked the western ambiance. Pretty challenging. I lost a couple of games before calling it quits. The AI was pretty decent. (And I'm pretty terrible.)

Quite fun to play, although having no mouse sensivity slider makes it almost unplayable for me. Also it's kinda unfair that you play against 4(?) robots who can shoot a lot harder than you.

And, please, for the love of all that is holy, STOP SPAMMING THE FRONT PAGE with your game.
