Meteor Horror
You are a dinosaur, trying to escape extinction! Avoid small meteorites, and be sure to get away from the big Meteors that come. They are all dinosaur-seeking, so use the platforms to your advantage. Survive for as long as you can!
This game was an attempt to mix a platformer and a horde-mode/rogue-like game.

So much pain! It was fun to play :). There is a real challenge, although I'm still not sure how much you can do about avoiding the big meteor.
Best aspects:
- The challenge of dodging homing devices
- Dinosaur model
Notes for improvement:
- (Bug?) The game timer doesn't reset after a game-over. This makes it harder to track how well you did each time.
- Make the jumping a bit more forgiving by e.g. a double jump. The homing devices are already a challenge enough I think :P.

I found a sweet-spot right under the starting platform to block all incoming meteors
That is... until the giant meteor shows up. That thing should NOT be heat seeking, lol. I died almost every time it came on screen

Very fun! Agree that having a double-jump would be very nice in this game. I like that you can see when the big meteor is coming from the huge red light! One little thing is it feels the meteors can turn a little too quickly when they're right next to you. Overall, really fun and complete-feeling game!

A fun game idea, kinda hard to survive lol. tried to trick the meteorites in hitting the platform, but they were smarter most of the times lol. Maybe make a level system out of this, where you have a fixed amount of meteorites spawning for each level. That way you can ramp up the difficulty. nonetheless a fun game, good job!

Liked the concept but could really come up with a strategy to dodge the big meteor. Made it once, by luck i guess.

@Derek-Volker The big meteor explodes if it hits 5 platforms. It's hard, depending on where it spawns in relation to you. I didn't get to tweaking it much beyond that.
Adding more types of things that chase you or ways to protect yourself my be nice in future improvements.
