Welcome to Platform Assembly! An Outperformer Idle Platformer!
As you would expect, Platform Assembly mixes the Platformer and the Idle Clicker genres.
Because of those pesky time zones and weekdays, all of the art and coding for the game was done in 48 hours. And we had a lot of fun in the process!
CONTROLS:
In Platform Assembly _you don’t control the character_, instead you’ll have to buy the actions it will perform throughout the level using the money it makes by advancing or collecting coins.
There are 4 types of actions at your disposal:
Jump: Make your character soar over obstacles and enemies.
Sprint: Give a speed boost to your character for longer jumps.
Reverse: Change your character’s direction to explore new horizons.
Wall Jump: Reverse and Jump at the same time. From a wall!
To place actions, click on them through the shop and place them on the floor and walls.
To destroy a bought action on the map, press right click over it.
We’re a group of five 2nd year Videogame design students from Spain, and we joined this LDJam as our first project together in preparation for this year’s final project. We hope you like it!
We do not own the song used in the game and all sound effects are copyright free.
The awesome track used is from Inspector Norse by Todd Terje.
