Try to play pong while shooting at enemies ! You can control the bullet to shoot after you touch the ball. Controls : ⬅️➡️⬆️⬇️ to move the racket and the aim !
Hey there! So let me be frank - it takes a while to get used to those controls! But once you do it all clicks. I think though that you might have a bug in your shoot direction code, it feels like it is more responsive to aiming towards the 0 and 180 degrees marks then it is in the center although I may be wrong. It's probably something with using sine and consine but hell if I know, it just didn't feel quite right. I did finally win though once I understood what I was doing. Nice job!
You really did succeed in Combining 2 Incompatible Genres, it works well though. The pong in itself was enjoyable but additional aiming stuff was an added bonus. Sound would have enhanced the game. But it plays well.

Indeed, I didn't have the time to implement all elements I wanted : different enemies, agressive enemies, some bonus to change the bullets and ball behavior and a 2 players mode ! I also had issues with the format of the game after building it for html5, taking me the time I planned to add sound and music...
I was a little unclear on the scoring - I went from a 90 point lead to a game over seemingly in one 'rally' and didn't know why... bug, or me completely misunderstanding how scoring is happening in the game?
I think you blended these together excellently, I would never have thought of this mashup :laughing: it was pretty difficult to aim the bullets but I enjoyed it nonetheless
