Well done! Nice and simple. I'm not sure if surviving a wave gave you any health back, but I found myself wanting powerups and/or life return. Maybe I didn't play enough...

@david-greene ending of a wave doesn't give you your health back but there are power ups that fill your health and give you spinning power and they spawn everywhere on the map , also if you stop hitting the "ball throwers" , they will start booing you which will make you lose health. hope you had fun, I had a lot making it.

@moffkalast I wanted to have a dramatic animation where when the player was boo'ed down by the people ,he would just sit down where he was standing and put his hand on his heart and then he would go in an "ow" loop. but I didn't had enough time. and yes it was inspired by that "Family guy" bit. but ended up putting it as the death sound.

@GameDevMumin yes they do re-spawn but you have to be a certain distance away from the spawn-point in order for them to spawn and there are tons of places where these power ups spawn , I did it like this so that the player would have to be keep on moving. hope you enjoyed and thanks for trying my entry.

Haha loved the audio. Very funny. I found myself playing it multiple times over. Great job.

The audio is so good. I couldn't tell if I was supposed to be able to actually hit the balls with my racket, but it really didn't matter because the audio was amazing and I was ruining those fools. Great job on the game!

Gameplay felt solid and it was fun, but the game never seemed to never get harder and nothing changed. I kept wanting to hit the tennis balls back at the enemies, but the balls always seemed to just shoot off in some random direction. I really liked the vocal taunts by the enemies, and the animations were well done. The main character not having a face reminded me of The Blank from Dick Tracy. I got to wave 10 and stopped, since it seemed like the game just keeps going forever as long as you keep moving and avoid the enemy attacks.

That was a riot. At first I felt too rapidly swarmed, but then I discovered what I came to call EZ-Mode Hill, and Rackety Rekt everyone who came near.

Simple and fun, well done!

@LeviDSmith yes I really think the enemies were less aggressive and amount of enemies also grow slower per wave (I didn't had that much time to play-test it before the jam ended), That's why play-testing is so important. and yes the ball direction is random too (DAMNIT).

A fun game indeed. I really liked the audio (you father left because of you ... your mom didn't love you XD XD) . On a side note, bullying is wrong, and that is exactly how you should respond to bullying XD by hitting the f$$k out of the bullies XD XD

This is a super cute game. It's fun to run about and spin slap all those ball-havers with my rekt racket. It ramps up pretty quickly with the canons but I had a great time. Nice submission!

This is a super funny little game, and both the story and the graphics is so good. Well done.

I played this at the end of my stream, it was an incredibly fun! :smile:

The sound effects were glorious and I had great fun getting the collectables and hitting people with the racket!

One thing I would add would be a better way of hitting balls back - Maybe have them target the nearest mob towards you? It would have been cool hitting them back and I tried with the ball machine but it just ended up killing me :sob:

Other than that, solid game! Wish I had more time to play, it was very fun! :smiley:

@PonchoGuy Thanks man, and I will add that ball targeting mechanics and much more ,I have a lot of ideas for this game (I do regret not adding that), it's awesome that you played it on your stream. I would love to see a clip of it, as I haven't seen anybody's live reaction while playing my game.
