Use keyboard keys E-I and D-J to control the bird. Each key plays a different drum sound.Try and make a dope beat and stay alive! The "Download last beat" button should let you download what you played on your last turn as a .wav file.
If you're having trouble staying alive, the slider adjusts the gravity in the game, so you can tweak it to suit the tempo of the beat you're going for.
It helps to play some rap vocals in the background, a YouTube playlist is provided.

Big, big shout out to Daniel Shiffman and his YouTube Channel The Coding Train for the video series walking through the implementation of a Flappy Bird clone in p5.js. It saved me countless dev time and allowed this stupid game to come into being.
This is my first ever game jam, and I'm kind of only entering to get a feel for it and to learn for future jams. I had fun throwing this together and hope you have fun playing it!

A nice idea, but I found myself just trying to play it like Flappy Bird and ignoring the beat part.

Very cool! I couldn't hear any audio, but it doesn't seem others have that problem so it's probably a configuration thing on my end. This is definitely a good mix for the theme
...seriously, I almost died when I realized what your game was about. Nice idea :)
