You're hosting a party, but nobody came! Never mind, that means less washing up and you can still play all the cool party games! Up arrow, down arrow and space bar are all the controls you'll need!
I've been away from game jams for a couple of years, so this is just a little thing to dust off the cobwebs. And I must confess that my partner came up with the initial "Single Player + Party Game" idea. Thanks Bex!
I can't figure out how to play! I opened it in Chrome then in Edge, then finally just started mashing the keys. Something worked, but I'm not sure what. Can you provide some hints on the controls?
@jshaffer94247 In the menu, up and down arrows move the selection, and spacebar selects it. Elsewhere, it's just up and down arrows to rotate (in hopefully intuitive directions, but if you've never played a similar type of game it might feel backwards).
@Andreadbx Difficulty is always a tricky one with jam games. After spending a weekend fighting a variably broken mess, the last minute change making it borderline playable suddenly makes it seem super easy *to the person who knows everything about how it works* 😄
There's no logical reason why this game should have amused me as much as it did. By your own admission, this was "a little thing to dust off the cobwebs." There really isn't much game here, yet, I probably 'played' it for a good 5 minutes while chuckling at the hand gliding raptor. Bonus points for you!
Love the concept of a single-player party! Felt pretty bad for the poor, lonely velociraptor. Took me a few tries to get a feel for for the hang-gliding mini-game, but then I just kept on going. Is there an end to that area?
Fits the theme. I really like Dinos so I came to like the picture of the Velociraptor with the party hat. It was nice and I liked the hanggliding, priceless XD, the memory game was a bit difficult I could manage up to 11 after trying a few times. Great work ^^
