Description:
You are in a apocalypse, but... why not to try play some soccer? Survive and win the game! Try to be the 1º in our highscore (Don't forget to drink water and eat burguers, cause this is the basic to survive hahaha)

USE THE MOUSE TO ROTATE THE PLAYER!!

Gameplay:
Press WASD to Walk, Hold Shift to Run (careful with the survival elements) and Use the mouse + mouse click to look to the ball / kick.
The Green bar is the life;
The Blue bar is the Thirst;
The Brown bar is the Hunger;

Craft: Get some wood plank and nails to craft an entire armor set.

We had use as inspire GTA 1 in camera and Soccer(1985) in graphics and mechanics.

Music:
We had try to use something to remember a mix of Soccer and Survival, with some brazilian samba and misterious!

This is our second LDJAM, hope u guys like!

Hey guys @Fernando Labarta @tywiggs try to rotate the player with the mouse and use AWSD to move the player! I think will be better!

I wish there had been an animation to show when I was kicking. I really liked the ball physics though.

Cool concept, but it's so hard to shoot the ball and if the ball it's in near to the corner it´s impossible :(

Good concept, cool idea, interesting mix of 2 genres :soccer: :gun:! Controlling the player is pretty hard, maybe a mode where the ball sticks to the player would make it easier to play, music is surprising because seems not related to soccer or survival and in other hand it makes the game even more surrealist, good job :thumbsup:

Fun idea and I really like the implementation. Playing is very smooth and feels polished.

The biggest nitpick I have is that the two themes do not feel well integrated. What are you trying to do? Play soccer? Survive? Apparently just survive by shooting the zombies with the ball. But I feel it could have been more. Maybe the players actually could be playing soccer while casually killing some zombies? I don't know, but I felt the game needed something more to make two themes work in tandem.

Still a good game for a marathon! Thanks! :)

Hello there, Guilherme, Dizzy, Stamblew, Lost Beats, and Marshal! That's quite an interesting mix and I really like how different our games turned out despite both of them being based on "soccer" and "zombies" -- and I love the title card!

I tried playing the game but the highest score I ever got was 15, I think it's just too hard for me. More often than not, I'd get the ball stuck in a corner while getting shot to death by the enemies as I tried to wedge it out somehow. And when I had the ball on the playfield, the goalkeeper AI was too strong for me, I never managed to score even a single goal.

I think my biggest problem was that I didn't know how to craft or how to defend myself against the enemies, I just tried to avoid them and collect all the air drops, but apparently that' not how the game is played.

Oh, and two thumbs up for the mysterious soccer-samba :)

@zeu31 and @PhilStrahl Thanks for the feedback! I would like to have done a better tutorial on the mechanics of craft and survival, unfortunately we do not think about it, I hope that next time we do something even better!
