This game is great! It's really fun and simple, I love the gameplay. It's fun to play in a short burst, though the sand sound effects sometimes gets really loud. Other then that, it's amazing
Great job, really neat concept and fun gameplay! One suggestion I have is that once there are a few characters on screen, it becomes difficult to differentiate which one is the player.
Very unique concept! It took me a minute to get the hang of the controls, but eventually I think I found a way to be unbeatable. It might be fun to add some combo moves or different enemies in the future. Great job!
Awesome, you've either deliberately or unwittingly placed Samurai fighting against a Japanese flag background! Either way, cool concept and a lot of fun to play.
This felt very epic and thematic. I love the simplistic graphics and especially the sun. The controls could have been more clear, what with the buttons and all, but you figure it out eventually. The gameplay itself was very interesting, and could definitely be refined or even tailored to a very entertaining puzzle game
i like the concept nice, you could change their color so it will be easier to recognize witch one is the player and witch one is the enemy, i like the game .
This game is HARD! It was pretty cool tho! I think the main character should have a different color, but everything else seemed pretty solid. Great job!
I love the gameplay. Graphics suit the game, though they're very simple. Only thing is that you can get stuck in an infinite loop, where neither person dies but you can't kill.
I love the concept, and once you get the hang of it it's really fun and interesting combat. I would say though, having the controls move is slightly annoying (a keyboard option might be nice), and you pretty frequently end up in situations there's no way out of. Even in this state though, it's a good game, and I can see it working well if expanded upon. Nice job!
I love this! Simple, easy enough to get started with, but to keep going with the waves you have to figure out all the moves - the sneaky backstab, the low sweep, the blocking. The sounds are simple and perfect.
This would make a great mobile game - I tried playing it on my phone, got a bunch of warnings and it initially loaded, but none of the buttons seemed to work.
Great game! Killing multiple guys in a row feels great! My only complaints are that the movement sound gets really loud, and sometimes I felt that I got killed and the enemy didn't have his sword prepared, but I may be wrong I don't know. Good job!
Super cool concept and execution. The sound effects volume could be a bit lower and some music could do a lot to deepen the mood. Really liked the style and the strategic gameplay was interesting. Great work!
nice little minimal game. It was hard to get out of block situations, a special move would be awesome. Nice entry everything works together coherently. Well Done!
I think it's great  a good concept and well executed. :grimacing: If I had to criticize anything (just to say) is that event though it looks all good and clean, may be too simple and could have fit even better in the compo rather than the jam.
Love the minimalistic art style. It's nice how simple and easy to learn. It was fun! The one critique I have, is that I couldn't tell which fighter I was sometimes, which makes it hard to play. I'd suggest giving the player character a different color or something.
Nice minimalistic art style, I like what you've done with it in your progress update as well, it seems to be going in a good direction. I think some music would have really helped the mood. Nice entry overall, I'm interested in seeing where this is going.
I really like this idea. Plus the Sunset scrolling down that's a nice touch. I would prefer if the buttons would be locked in one place instead of moving with the player. I accidently hit the wrong button and lost a move. Also when enemies and player are on the same position, there is no way to differentiate them, they get mixed up due to the black color. Maybe that was the intended gameplay but just a suggestion. Overall a good idea. Would like to see the future for this game.
This was weird at first- then I believed it was inevitable.
Awesome potential. And REALLY solid minimal design. At first I didn't understand if I was to mimic the other players stance or try to attack. I got the hang of it and ended up hacking until I died- or the sunset. Whichever came first. Hard to tell, at times, which character I was controlling. Great job and thanks for the game!
Very efficient. Sometimes I'm not sure which one I was. Would love to see this more content (weapons with different ranges). Love the minimalist aspect. Would be nice to have a little more audio (a short melody when you killed everyone in a wave. Good work!
pretty interesting concept! mby a bit weird to get used to (the first 2 attempts i get overlapped with an enemy and didnt understand what was going on) this would be great on mobile!
Yeah the concept is good you can make a bigger game out of this, I also agree with the guy that said your character needs to be a different color so you can tell where he is.

I like this style. The player needs something to be better recognizable, thou, it gets hard to follow when there are lots of enemies.
Good job!
