The Adventure of Johnny and Schniblits

Take Johnny and his flying pet Schniblits on a perilous journey through a strange cave filled with deadly traps. Collect special food for Schniblits and watch him grow. The danger increases the deeper you go, so watch out! A controller is recommended.

This is both our first game jam and our first game. Our plan for this game started out as a Platformer/Pet Sim, but with the time constraints of the jam combined with learning the engine as we went, we made the pet aspect more and more simple as development progressed, resulting in what is essentially a platformer with an extremely simple pet mechanic tacked on. Still, we had a lot of fun making this game and we hope you have fun playing it!

We posted a bug-fix an hour after deadline. Depending on resolution, if the game was put into full screen the player would see things they shouldn't see.
