I developed the game using Java and LWJGL 3, and my own 'Engine', which you can get from Github:LintfordLib.
My mashup of incompatible genres is a typing game and Mega-Lo-Mania-esque RTS where you move your followers around the map to eliminate zombies and destroy their graveyards. All-in-all I'm pretty happy with this submission, the game seems playable, there are both win and lose conditions, and I managed to implement almost all major components.
As always there are a few things which I didn't get around to finishing and a few bugs. I'll revisit the code in the next week to get rid of some of the bugs: mainly the Z-Fighting/flickering in the menu-system and the input box focus.
If you have any problems with the general running of the game, it'd be great if you could let me know and I'll try and fix it for next time.
I don't know what the rules of Ludum Dare are, but I think it would be really cool if there were 8-bit covers of some of the songs you type to. An interesting game nonetheless. Great job!
