In this silly game you play as a failed arts major who cannot paint well enough to earn a living. Thus, you must turn to a life of crime to sustain yourself. You will break into the Louvre, sneak past the guards, find a painting, steal it, and quickly replace it with a replica that you must paint yourself. Good luck.
P.S: feel free to post screenshots of your replicas in the comments!
Arrow keys to move, press C when over easel to paint. On death you will need T restart the game. When you're done with the painting, press C twice to paint another one! The tick button is broken :( Genres mixed are stealth and painting.
Nothing past replicating the painting works, we ran out of time. Sorry! Hopefully we'll be able to complete it and publish it on itch.io. Hopefully for that we will have finished the replication scoring system, fixed up the AI, added more maps, and generally fixed it up and polished it. Any feedback or ideas is appreciated!
To build from source you will need the sdl development libraries (follow the instructions here and the latest rust nightly. Run cargo build --release (it will be unplayable without release mode) in the directory and you should be good to go.
